My retrospective view takes me back 32 years.  This was the beginning of a lifelong dream becoming a reality.

Little did I know at the time, that the funeral profession would become my destiny. My late husband, Robert J. Wilson was a visionary and saw Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home long before its inception. In 1995, God in His infinite wisdom, removed him from his dedication and service in the business.  God never closes one door without opening another.

My personal loss gave me great insight into the funeral business which I could only get through experience.  I was well aware of my responsibility to serve others in their time of loss as I had been served, with love, empathy, compassion and understanding.

Upon retiring from teaching in 1995 after 29 years, I vowed to continue the family's business with the same dedication to quality service that has become our tradition.I have been blessed with a caring and dedicated staff.  I am very thankful to have them as a vital part of our Wilson & Jarrett Family.I have embraced the ownership of the business with a sense of responsibility, honesty, integrity and genuine concern about the community in providing them with what they have come to expect from Wilson & Jarrett in the way of service.   My two daughters, Madalyn D. Nelson and Robin Wilson-Tucker are an integral part of the business.

In the past I have served on the Planning and Zoning Board 1997-1999 -Community Service Board of Directors 2001-2004 Board of Directors US Bank 1999-2007.  I presently serve on the St. Anthony's Medical Center Board of Directors and I am also a member of the NAACP.  Funeral business has been and will continue to be a labor of love as I continue to serve families in this and surrounding communities.
